If you replace the stock paper air filter element with a K & N replacement filter element, I'm assuming a fuel management device is required, I'm I right??

Got a fuel pack coming, so it's not an issue but in the settings for the fuel pack it asks if the filter is stock or high/flow, which I believe the K & N is, even though it's only the replacement element.

Monster Ovals, K & N filter and fuel pack. That's it for my performance goals.....

 

Replacing the stock paper element with a K&N element will not change anything. You would have to change the back plate to get more air flow.
