I installed S E pipes and bought a TFI fuel management system now witch air filter would be better for this combination the K&N or the sceaming eagle any pros and cons.
Thanks.
I clicked on here expecting to see an air filter, with a little hat, and a big nose, with wart on it... "Which" is the word you are looking for....
Now, on to your question. You are going to want a freer breathing air filter. Arlen Ness Big Sucker is good, and you can buy it with a chrome back plate (in case you ever want to run an open element). The SE air cleaner is OK, but the filter is not able to be cleaned (like the AN big sucker) or the K& N. I didn't know the difference when I got mine. I got the SE air cleaner, and it is fine, but you will have to buy filters for it... What I did was to buy just the K & N filter for the assembly... so, I have the SE backing plate/housing, and a K & N filter... it would be cheaper, and just as good, to buy a AN Big Sucker...
I would have to agree....K&N is better.....I have a SE High flow A/C setup on my RK now,But will change it out for a K&N filter element this spring....Does anyone know the PN# for the K&N replacement filter? For an 06 RK custom.....Thnx
complete K&N BIG Twin intake system RK-3909 Eastern performance.Purchased from their Ebay store $120.00 shipped.I had done my homework this was the cheapest place...
I had the 3909 on my Dyna....What I was lookin for was justthe replacement filter (K&N),for the SE ......Any ideas?......Just hoped to save a few $$$$ and not have to buy the whole kit......Thnx
