Nothing for nothing. U just dropped at least 15 large on your scoot. Thats no small investment. To try and get away cheaply, in this particular case, is notvery wise. Anytime you change the way you bike breathes or exhausts requires changes in the ecm. Dont f up your bike.With the particular combo yourthinking of using, best toget a sert or a PClll. do it right. It aint the old days when all you needed to do when swappin for straights was to re-jet the carb. You can save the labor charges by dointhe workyourself.(You'll just have to get it dynotested.
