Does HD make black forward controls ??? And if they don't would you guys happen to know who does I have a 08 Street Bob and would like to find blk ones if I can.
I haven't seen any either, but I'm sure they're out there. The vast size of the aftermarket for HDs is amazing. However, if all else fails you could always get a chrome set powdercoated.
Do a search on ebay. I've seen them for earlier models. Or like redbeard said you could have powder coated. I know someone painted at set I can't remember getting old.

Have a black set on my 07 Street Bob, had sent over from the states....brand name "Outlaw"..if you do a search you may find them...picked up at reasonable price.
Anodized aluminum looks sweet but is not very durable. Forward controls are gonna take a beating with sand, stones, bugs and of course the rider's feet rubbing them all the time. I'd strongly suggest powder coat for the beauty AND durability. Besides, you have gloss level optionswith powder.
I am actually taking mine off this weekend and sending them to a friend for powdercoat. I think thats the best idea when it comes to looks and durability. I'll let you know how it comes out...
