I read a post a while back itemising varous engine / trannychanges embeded deep in thepart numbers for the touring models between 07 and 08.
They included: inner primary bearing inner race, tranny input shaft, tranny case, and crank bearings. Does anyone know if the same changes extended tothe Dyna's for 08, and what is the significance (if any). I other words: 'have the 08 Dyna's got some engine tranny upgrades over the07 models that should leave us 07 owners concerned about fragility? If so, whats is the scope for upgrading to 08 componants further down the road?
Anyone?
 \\;
Were there any inner primary bearing failures on 07 \\;softails and baggers? or do they suffer from the 'Rocks in a can' noise only?
I asked the dealer this question when I bought my 08. He said only the aircleaner and cover was changed. Looking on the Kuryakin website though I noticed that they say installing their handlevers on an 08 Dyna will result in a three-eights inch longer reach, don't know what else might be different.
