whats up guys just installed some night train throttle cables and where they connect under the lower housing them seem kind of lose just wondering that is normal .. thanks guys
yeah where the master cylinder i gave them a good tug and they didnt come out is there a chance they can come out???? they work great nice and quick when i turn it i think the move about a little more then 1/4 of an inch
I just put Street Bob cables on my FXDC. They flop around side to side, but don't come out unless I yank on'em real good. If you did the cable swap yourself, you'll know if they're gonna fall out or not. Besides - with the cables adjusted, there is ... how to describe this..... "linear tension" between the end that sits behind the throttle plate, and the end that plugs into the handgrip. Does that make sense? Seems to me that if they were loose enough to fall out, you're throttle would already be non-functional
I don't wanna to stear ya wrong here, but if they are connected right in the throttle grip, are adjusted so the throttle works, I really don't see how they could just come out.
Yeah, mine do the same thing. No problems so far. If what you're talking about is what I think it is, then there are two little (by little I mean tiny) snap ring looking things that hold your cable into that switch housing. Most likely those are a little warped, or like others have said, your tension is a little loose. Nothing I would worry about too much though, personally. If you want, have it check out, for that piece of mind...
nah well it funtions bad *** it goes back like in a milasecond lol its super quick and have a bout a 1/8 to 1/4 in of slack in the grip if i give it a really good tug it will come out but i mean a really good tug
