Wide Glide Rumor?
i agree the moco sometimes has a habit trying for a new model to see if they will selland stop making one style end up bring them back.the bad thing about the wide glide is buy the front end and you got one and bobb the back fender.it's just like the new cross bones .think back that style has been here before.
Does the Fat Bob use a Wide Glide wheel hub? I would than believe that the only difference would be the choice of 49mm tubes in place of 41mm? I do not know as I have not measured the Fat Bob as of yet to know for sure. Would the spacing and 49mm fork tubes be a better option than a 41mm fork tube?
The Fat Bob has a mid glide 49mmfront end with 29 degrees of rake like the Street Bob. The Wide Glide has 32 degrees of rakewith the 41mm tubeslike a Softail. They will bring it back in a couple of years for some kind of specialedition limited production. Then the MoCo will sell thousands of them. It's all about sales numbers as we all know.
Friend of mine here in the uk tried to buy wideglide november last year told bike was not avalable bought rocker C had delivery date changed twice told it was problems at the factory,Production cut backs?????
in my opinion wg's are the ultimate hd. as a kid watching old biker movies i fell in love with the look. there is no mistaking a wg for anyother brand of bike, you look at it and anyone can tell its a harley.

I think that the 06 and later Wide Glides have something like 34 degrees of rake and 49mm fork tubes.
Arcane

Actually this sums me up completely...almost went with a Nightster, decided I'd be happier long-term with a bigger bike, didn't want a Softail, started looking at Dynas...liked the rake of the Wide Glide, but also liked the blacked out SB...both had miniapes, and the SB had a better price tag. Bam.
