Wideglide has also been dropped in Australia from 2008 line-up.
Bought Street Bob instead.

When I was in Sturgis this last time. A Harley representative explained tome that the Softail Custom took alot of the Wide Glide market. A friend of mine just bought a 2008 Wide Glide and could not be happier.

Yes. 2007 was the last year for the Wide glide. Everyone said their dealer told them so and it was well publicized here si it must have been true.[8D]

I was in Baghdad when this rumor came up and I didnt think nothing of it. I was planning on buyin an 08 WG when the came out but then they hit the streets with the lineup and the whole Duracell Copper top which i did not like. I ran down to the AAFES dealership and after about 15 minutes of the guy tapping on the keys, he told me there was only one more 07 left in the factory to sell. It was the exact color I had sat on at the dealership before I had left so it had to be a sign from the gods at that point so I told the guy he just sold himself I bike. I couldn not be happier with it and even knowing it might have been the last non-battery WG out of the factory makes me feel even a little better
