i kow someone is going to tell me to search for the info. But as alot of you know I'm over here in Iraq and the internet is far to slow to do most things like that. Anyhow I'm looking for a replacement rear wheel for my 2006 Street Bob and i figure if I'm changing then i might just as well go a little bigger. I have heard rumors that an 18 x 5.5 will fit with no other mods and that a 200mm tire will go on there with out rubbing. can anyone confirm or deny this??
Hey Cowboy. Look up Handler. He is knowledgable about custom mods and has a business modding Jap bikes. He has put a 200 rear tire and custom wheel on the back of his Dyna. Here is a link with some info. Most of his info is on page 2.
An 18x5.5 with a 180 tire will fit easily. Some sites I've seen differentiate between the 180 and 200 tire on their 18x5.5 wheels, so I don't know if that means there is a different offset or what.

+1 --- the 18x5.5 w/a 180 is no problem, not sure about a 200 under the stock fender
