Damn I'm so jealous. It's been so long since I had a vehicle that was paid for, I don't remember what it was like. I'll have my wife's Jeep paid for in a year and it becomes my daughter's in December of '09 so I'll have a few months to throw that money towards the bike to hurry it along. Once my truck gets paid for, I'll quickly pay off the bike but somewhere in there, I'll have to buy the old lady a new set of wheels.
Isnt that awesome, mines been paid off for a year now and its very comforting. As my dad said "I think thats the only Harley ive ever rode that was paid for"[sm=biker2.gif]

They shrunk, but luckily I still have my freakishly large Dick............................Tracy styletrench coat to cover them up.

I semi-put it up for sale on the internet only to see if anybody would be interested. I don't know if I would have been able to let it go and certainly not for$10,000 which is what I see a lot of people offering for them. The web is a crappy place to try and sell a bike anyway. I had a thing for the K1200R for a while there but not enough to sell the Bob and get one. I still think the K12 is bad as hell, but not worth the cash.
Good to hear from you again. A lots changed around here apparently since us first Street Bobbers were here back in early 2006. I even had to change my name and avatar due to a troll who was apparently tracking my posts for what I thought were potentially bad reasons.
By the way, I was the guy who had Michael Jackson's pale head on Greg Valentino's oddly huge arms. One of the few cobalt blue bob owners.
Dude, I was wondering what happened to you. :-)
It's kind of natural to fade off the boards every once in a while. I tend to lay low until I have to do a servicing, a repair or upgrade. I then jump back in with a million posts, finish the job and go back in to hibernation. I also try to document what I'm doing on the boards so that I'm giving back, so to speak. I hate reading posts from folks who have similar issues who, after receiving tons of suggestions and recommendations, never follow up with how the issue was resolved. Kind of leeching at that point. :-)
Whiff
Yeah, good to be back I guess. Another "favorite" thing of mine on this forum is when new members post a thread that reads something like, - Custom 23 inch wheel on Street Bob - and when you click the thread ready to see the photos it just says, "Has anyone done this mod yet?" It's good to seeyour veteran Bob is still running after all these years.
Yea my favorite is "I know this has probably been beat to death but,,,,"
Justafewmore stupid new member questions for you guys. What the hell do you think this forum is for? How are you supposed to find things out without asking? Are we supposed to read your minds?Help me out here.
