Default Fat Cat?

Hi folks, I'm from the touring forum, but have a ? for a friend of mine. He has a stock 2001 Dyna with stock 88 motor. He put a D&D Fat Cat on it and he loves the power, but the bike now spits and sputters quite a bit. Stock a/c, stock carb. I'm sure he needs a better breathing a/c and different jets in his carb. Any hints on a good combo would be greatly appreciated. Tried the search, but it's down again. Thanks, Kris

I've got the FatCat on my '06 with the same set up (stock a/c) right now, I went ahead and got a SERT because I plan on getting a high flow set up shortly. My bike runs as smooth as silk, no stutter, no popping, no nothing.

Appreciate the input, but his is a carbed model. Looking for a good jetting set up.
