Folks, I am picking up the FXDC Tuesday, forward controls installed, I am 6'4, I have seen a few seat threads here and remember a comment or two about folks having a tall boy saddle they will never use. I am hoping I may be able to look at working a deal, to see how it fits and possible buy or try the used but not to be used by the current owner before I invest. If anyone is interested give me a ping.

I wish I could give you mine. I only use it when the old lady rides but she won't go without it. Very comfortable seat but f'ugly IMO.

 

That's the rub with any seat your wife's gonna like. The cool thing is that they're really easy to switch out.

Tall boy's a good choice though, if it's gotta be ugly it might as well be comfortable.

Well I went in and confirmed my forwards are installed, It feels like a pretty good fit, Saddles are tough, a spendy proposition unless you get to try it out before you buy it... I guess I will stay stock for a while, and see how it goes, I like the copper inset anyway
