Smile Tall boy seat how comfortable?

I am looking at the HD Tall boy seat p/n 52099-09A. It moves you back 2inches. I am 6'2" tall. The stock seat on my 2011 Road King Classic is very uncomfortable. I like the tall boy seat because it gives you the opsition to add a back rest for the rider. I have looked at Mean city cycle seats on the internet. Does anyone know if these items that I like on the tall boy can be applied to the stock seat if Mean city cycle does it? Thanks for your help.

I ran the tallboy seat on my 09 streetglide for 2 years. Most comfortable stock seat I have been on. Did two 800+ mile days. A couple inches back makes more difference than you think.

About two years ago, I bought a Tallboy for my '08 FLHX, and I'm 6'2" also. Hands down, the best thing I've done to my bike. Now, I can actually ride all day long without getting cramped. It really made a huge difference.

It is a very comfortable seat, Better riding position and more room, I am 6'3 350lbs with 6 missing discs in my back and it really really really helps!

I have had a tallboy on my 98 Road Glide since new. The seat is comfortable, however, after about 40,000 miles it started rubbing on my saddlebags. The seat sides appeared to have broken down/pushed outward.

I called Harley about this, but they were entirely unsympathetic regarding their poorly engineered product. The edges of the saddlebags were damaged.

Had one on my 09 FLHX for about 8000 miles. At first I thought it was great but over time it seemed to start to sag and give no support. It's like the seat pan just gave way. By far the best HD seat until it gave up.

I have the tall boy on my 09 EGC and its very comfy. It sets you back away from the bars so you can straighten your arms out a bit.

I went through a lot of seats and a bit of cash modifying seats - Then I bought a TallBoy and I don't need anymore seats.

Default tallboy

Had a tallboy seat since i bought my 2007 road king i'm 6foot1 and recently had a left total hip replacement. It kept me higher and back far enough so i could shift without breaking my 90 degree hip precauitions. ps it's comfortable for the long haul.

I own a Tall boy for a 2006. It sits different than the 2009's and newer. The seat is comfortable, however, you sit on the bike not in the bike. Also, because you have more room, your passenger may have less room if you have a passenger back rest.
