with 2º of rake, 11" rear shocks, 21" tire I have 33º of rake on level ground with 31º in my frame according to my trusty angle finder... It does help your trail #s to lower the rear and add a 21" wheel up front...
my FXDC also had 28º of rake according to H-D

 

rounder, thanks! How does your bike handle? Any ill effects from these changes? Also do you know the trail for your current set up? A couple of forum members have similar set ups and seem very happy with them. I think this will be my next project, though I might go with a little less extreme rear shocks (12" or 11.5").

 

Just finished seeger cycle rake kit for my FXDS. Happy with the results but its not quite as easy as they make out.
