How did you secure the large rucksack? Looks good!
Thanks! It's a large military issue pack. I used someadjustable bungee cords from Target and laced them through the loops on the bag. Basically connected the hooks to the saddle bag mount and sissy bar in a cross pattern. The thing was rock solid. Also very easy to get on and off the bike because the loops on the bag hold the bungees in place. About 30 seconds toput on or take off.It makes aperfect backrest too if you put the slip-on pad from the tall HD sissy bar in the fron pocket.

Here's mine on the way back from Gettysburg last year. We were waiting on the ferry to take us across the Potomac River.

Would be curious to see some lists from you guys on what all you pack for, say a 10 day trip. I have a small Ttype bag from Carroll Leather with a roll bag and waterproof cover that cost me less than $100. I pack clothing for 5 days, a toiletries kit, a paperback book or two, my rain gear, bike cover, HOG chapter vest, a couple of water bottles, small windex bottle and microfiber cloths, a cable and lock, and at times my laptop and power cord. Could probably also squeeze in my electric jacket liner and gloves if needed. I have yet to try packing for camping yet but plan to before summer comes.

Ride Safe.

Back in Wisconsin from Sturgis Buffalo Chip 06. 700+ miles that day. Bought the sheepskin south of Sturgis .... like sitting in a couch.
