Default Rider backrest

Does anyone know of a company that sells a rider backrest for my 06 FXDBI? I want to keep the stock seat and will it work with the pillion pad? THX.

You'll have to get a whole new seat set-up. You will not be able to use anything for the stock seat, especially with the p-pad. There is a company that makes a solo backrest with built-in rack. If you want a solo seat with a backrest, you'll need to look into Mustang or Corbin.

Cool! I've been looking for an alternative for a riders backrest. I sent them an email. See what they have to say. Thanks for the link!

you could build one that you like rather cheap, no idea what they want for one on the above link. I did mine but am having it redonenow by someone wiser than Ido to some busted steel but mine is taller than you might be looking for. Mine caught a lot of wind and with me leaning on it busted my side plates (I think the day I set a new speed record on my bob had something to do with it)

I have some information on the type Blade is describing if you would like. I bought one for my 07 Street Bob but I plan keeping the solo seat on. And as Blade stated it can only be used with a solo seat.
Let me know if you needmore info.....
Later,
Joe

Well shat!! Just got off the phone with Harold at Protac. They don't make anything a backrest for any dyna newer than '05. Sporters newer than '03, and Road Kings ? Well, shot that to hell! I'd consider making something myself, but I'm pretty limited on my time. Oh well, back to the ol' drawing board!
