First take a 10mm wrench and put a 45 degree bend about an inch or so from the box end. Now, remove the two bolts that support the battery tray to the frame, get eyeball level to the battery, the bolts are to the left, bolts are different lengths don't mix them up, one bolt goes up into the frame. Position the tray down, disconnect the negative cable first. Upon installation connect negative cable last. When the tray is loose you can access the batt cables real easy and you will see why the bend in the wrench is there. Good luck.
