Default Removing Stock Slip Ons

I got my Cycle Shack Slipons in the mails today and went right out to put them on. I have an 08 Super Glide for reference. I loosened the two clamps on each on of the stock slip ons. I can not for the life of me get the stock slip ons to budge, they will not come off. Any recommendations on getting them off and/or am I missing something that needs to be loosened. I checked over everything and could not see anything. Any insight or suggestions would be greating appreciated.

Did disconnect them from the bracket they mount to?? Once you do that NORMALLY, I say NORMALLY you can wiggle them loose.
IF that doesn't work, there are other options[8D]

Get big and yank them puppies off. Of course you have to have them disconnected first..

Yeah, on my 07 Wide Glide, one was a bitch to slide off and the other was harder. Used a strap wrench to help wiggle the one needing an attitude change. Finally came off. No hidden bolts.

When that doesn't work......................... a block of wood and large ballpeen hammer or sledge.[:@][:@]
Of course you can use heat, if need be.
