I am 5 ft 7,When i ride my arms are pretty well straight and I need a little more pullback on my 07 FXDL lowrider,I have short arms i guess you could say, could someone help with the best way i could go,like what size risers or handlebars to give me mayby 1 or 2 inches more pullback, thanks in ad vance.
If you like drag bars, the Wild-1 507 model might be for you. They have a 10" rise and 12" pull-back. I have a 3" tank life to the ride and pull-pack don't appear as high and as far back as they are. Pics in my photo album.
Do you have any detailed pics of that setup? I too want to install pullback risers, but don't want to go too big. What size are the Deuce risers?
Chris
The Deuce risers give about 2 inches of pullback, and 5-6 inches of rise
(should work well with your current bar). I have some pics I can post
tonight.....but this is how they look (on a Sportster...but you get the idea). http://xlforum.net/vbportal/forums/s...ead.php?t=6779
Good deal, thanks for the info! The good news is that my cables and wires "should" all be long enough to work with those risers. The previous owner installed these lower bars, but didn't swap out the cables. I have quite a bit of slack in both my clutch and throttle cables. It's only the turn signal/control wires that may give me a problem (but maybe not.)
Drag bars with a nice angle to them (as opposed to the straight kind) will allign you nicely. Look around when you're out take your camera and take pictures of the look you like. Look on the net and download pics of what you like as well. You can never have enough info. Your bike shop should be able to judge what works for your height if they have any experience at all.
