Default Chrome Triple Trees...

I'm considering changing out my trees for a set of chrome ones. Any ideas on where to look for a set that'll fit an 07 with the 49mm forks?

Jake- You can go with Accutronix. They have 49mm trees. The only problem with them is they have either 3 or 5 degrees more rake than stock. I have the 5degree over and it completely changed the handling of the bike. If you live in an area of straight roads it wouldn't matter. The bike kind of porpoises if you hit a bump in a turn. It will definately get your attention. I think the best idea is to have stock trees chromed. I certainly couldn't be any more expensive than buying the Accutronix trees. I am seriously considering having my stock trees chromed and selling my Accutronix. I live about 30-45 minutes from the world famous Dragon's tale, and an ill handling bike is intolerable. Just my opinion and 2cents worth.

hey jake this is what i had to do. i bought a set of wdg triple trees, since i wanted to convert to the wdg front endand had them chromed from (www.chromemasters.com) for 130.00. they look awesome and great job they done. you can buy a set of triple have them chromed then sell your triples when you install the chrome trees or you can have your chromed instead. i think it is a must do, i hated the polish trees, they were hard to keep clean and looked to dull for me. here is a few pics of the chromed wdg trees on my sb. jackyl

Thanks guys. The chrome does look so much better and it's so much easier to keep clean.

Dyna, my wheels are Performance Machine Torque.
