I just ordered a pack of 5 spikes 1 3/8" and have an idea as to where to put them.

I was playing around with them and thought about where they could go. Well I remembered that there is a hole in the front fender that is not being used (at the back of the fender). So I installed one there and then imagined the other 4 placed at equal spacing from the back to the front. There would be a bit of drilling in the fender, but nothing too hard. Here is a pic of the one in the exisiting hole.
Just thought I would pass on the idea to anyone interested.

If you like spikes, you can change out every nut and bolt like the below Springer Classic. I saw this bike at a local bike night and spent some time looking for a bolt that wasn'tspiked.

can't go wrong with studsandspikes.com. love the old school punk rock crap they got. reminds me of the old school days at the gilman in berkley. dudes bike above is ridiculous. how do you ride that without bleeding out every time?

Dam, I like spikes and all but that is just a bit much for me, but hey to each his own.

 

Not for me.........but the upside of that is, it probably discourages morons from sitting on your bike in the parking lot!!
