Anyone heading to Springfield IL on Sunday for the Mile?

 

I'm in that general area. Excuse my ignorance, but what's the Springfield Mile?

 

AMA Flat track races. Really should check it out at least once. Will be 1000's of bike's there. The fall race is the big one but spring race draws a big crowd too. should be a good show...Springfield has been touted as the fasted dirt mile track in the US...I've seen champ cars, ARCA,
midgets (I know ) and the flat trackers there...nice facility and afast track!

enjoy the show...inside or outside of the venue!
