I liked the Super Glide Custom over the Fat Bob due to the shinny chrome and 2-up seat standard, more bike less money!!! I really like the mini-apes on the SB. So I bought the Super Glide Custom and spent $45.00 on the SB mini-apes and after 2 hours in the garage I had the best of both worlds! No need to replace any cables!!! New bars not in sig pic! Guess I need to take a new picture!

Regarding Color, I do prefer the silver, (pewter pearl)as I think it works well with the blonde engine, chrome and black accents. The black is a very close second for me. But what does my opinion matter anyway. [&:]You gotta get the one that is right for you of course! Good luck and great choice of bikes btw.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I've considered doing this myself. Seeing how's the cables don't need to be changed it's a done deal for me. Forward controls are next......

 

I love any harley dyna ,heck I love all bikes!, but if you look at our recent polls you will find the top runners are fxdb and fxd respectively. Of course they only started making the fxdf in '08 so time will tell.

the Street Bob is just such a cool little hot rod style bike,, you gotta love it,, but having said that its great your into a Dyna and they are all brilliant,,, even the fatbob

 

That is correct! Just had to bend the front break line down a little bit off of the master cylinder all the restwere long enough!
