RE: Tuning
How do you "set" them without a dyno. I don't know of a dyno near me. Can I install the PCIII anyway. Are there any type of plug & play modules for a 06 Dyna that you don't have to dyno? All I have is a SE A/C, SE slip ons, and a stage 1 download. All I'll do in the future is maybe some pipes, the black Supertrapp X pipes when they are released. Thanks.
I was told by a seemingly trustworthy Harley parts guy that with Stage-1 level upgrades that the Harley download is all you need. He said he thought that a powercommander was really only going to help you if you go up in displacement. One parts lady at another dealer tried to tell me that the Harley download didn't take half the time and that I should just buy the dynojet unit. I think she was full of it. If the Harley download will work with V&H Big Radius and a Stage 1 high-flow intake, then I'll just do that instead of an expensive pcIII. Anybody with experience on this?

RE: Tuning
I can tell you I have the download, SE A/C, & SE slip ons and I'm lean. My bike pops and sputters like an old man on the can. If you go beyond the slip ons, like some V&H or drag pipes, you'll be in worse shape. A lot of guys here swear by the PC3, SERT, etc. I wish I read more here before I did the download or I would have gone the SERT route. I need to find out what I can use too to richen my bike up without having to use a dyno. Plug & play needed. Damn, diesel trucks are so much easier to work on.

Better get a SERT and have it tuned. Zanottis sells them for $377 delivered.

To really stage 1 it correctly you need the 25 degree fuel injectors & the SERT. Look in the Tech DIY threads for this information

Call nearby dealers or independent bike shops. If you haven't bought the PCIII I would recommend the SERT. Some dealers will have pre-programmed maps for the SERT but I don't know about the PCIII

RE: Tuning
My dealer turned on me. All was cool when I was spreading the wealth around. I went in for the 1000 mile service, question the new injectors because I really am having issues with pops, sputters, and 2 stalls, and the stealer wanted to know how I even know about the TSB. I left the bike there until next week to see if they see & feel what I've experienced since new. So, dealer is out unless they square me away with the new injectors. Some Beaches. We'll see next week.
