2003 100th anniversary dyna wide glide question!
Mine isn’t newer it’s an 2003 100th anniversary edition and I’ve made some personal changes with seat and handlebars mirrors back to stock foot pegs. For a 15 year old bike and $3750 I took this guy home. Put new brakes and tires along with plugs and 3 hole fluid change. Absolutely love the Dyna platform. Recently was aggressively pursued by local HD dealer to buy a new bike right after I got this one. I’ll stick with this for now and I’ll buy a 2017 Dwg with low miles next fall.
I thought when I got mine I was getting something unique but as it turned out it’s not. A regular wide glide that year is more uncommon than an anniversary edition.
Seeing it isn’t that rare I made it my own..
badlander seat
biltwell window bars
Arlen Ness grips and big sucker air cleaner
new throttle cables
new mirrors
new handlebar switches and controls
and I absolutely love it.
Besides the 3 hole oil change and new plugs and wires fires every time 1st time no -choke ...
runs great get a lot of looks.
If only 2k of them were made I would have left it bone stock
I was wondering why my dwg has a fat front tire . I'm not saying I don't like it . Because I love it. Was just wondering.

This is the THREAD that never dies, look at the date of the OP.
To answer your question, someone changed the front wheel and tire on your bike before you bought it.
