2003 100th anniversary dyna wide glide question!

Im selling my sportster to get a 2003 model 100th anniversary dyna wide glide and ı was wondering if any of you know how many 100th anniversary units were produced.

I had to do alot googling but \\; found 291,147 total 100th anniversary bikes built that year. \\;Wow...that's a bunch.  \\;At least they didn't go nuts on the 105th Anniversary bikes this year. \\; There were only 2,000 Low Riders built, and I think about the same on the Wide Glides . Depending on how much $$ the used one will cost you, go talk to the stealer about this years version. At least you won't see as many guys pull up beside you with the same paint job...lol. Either way..enjoy!!

I have to admit this post caught my eye. I am doing exactly the same thing except I am not selling my sporty I am just putting it off to the side. I am looking at an 03 FXDWG with the limited edition paint. It is by far not rare but the paint makes it so I won't see another like it pull up along side of me. How much is the guy asking for the one you are buying? The one I am looking at has 5K miles. with the Harley removeable windshield, alarm system, better seat, back rest, screamin eagle pipes, and includes the original stock parts that were never used on the road.

If I could hijack this thread just slightly, does anyone know where I could find production stats on the 2003 Low Riders? Someone above said 2000 units were produced that year. I bought an 03 FXDL with the Gun Metal Blue color and I haven't seen too many of those around. Is that a common color for that year, or somewhat rare? Thanks!

I don't know the numbers, but there are sure alot of gun metal blue 03 bikes around here. \\; I have a buddy with a gun metal blue fatboy.

No, MOST are the black and silver. The one I am looking at has the numbered tins #95 of 120. It is green with ghost flames from the factory.

I know personally around my neck of the woods, I see alot of 03 bikes in all the different paint schemes. I love the look of the silver/black paint and hope to own one of each family someday! I've got a sporty and a wideglide right now.

As ı lıve ın Turkey , ıts the only 100th anniversary dyna wide glide ın the whole country
ı offered hım 12500 usd , stıll waıtıng for hıs decision .
You have to know also that taxes for motor vehicles here in turkey are very hıgh : list price + 40 % tax + 18 % vat.
But as thıs bıkes owner ıs a US citizen that brought the bıke down here from the states he dıdnt payed the taxes , and ıf ı buy the bıke ı wıll not pay them too cause ım also foreıgner ( ıtalıan ) living ın turkey .

there ıs a 2004 dyna wg in İstanbul on sale that has similer milage that costs 17500 euros = to 27000 $ tax and vat ıncluded .

Thıs means ım savıng 14500 US Dollars and ıts really a very good deal , ı hope everythıngs gonna be fıne and wıll buy the bıke asap .
Is there antyhıng else ı have to know about the bıke ????
I thınk ı saw somewhere on ınternet that there ıs kind of a special boxed key for the 100th anni bikes is that true ??
