found a torque reference table
When I bought my 2007 FXDC in April 2007, \\;I also got the Harley shop manual and the parts manual. I'll stick with the Harley torque specs in their manual rather than some website that may or may not be accurate. \\;

Beware nightrider technical articles, they are not always accurate and/or up to date. Rear axle nut on newer Dynas is 92-98 ft-lb, not 60-65.

crap i was assuming those were standard and up to date , i guess \\;thats what i get for assuming crap. time to go back out and give it another tug.
