Rear Axle Nut torque question

Rear Axle Nut torque question
I have one of the flat 36mm wrenches for the rear axle nut on my electraglide. It has a place to connect it to a torque wrench to torque the nut, but it seems that the offset of the wrench to the torque wrench would change the torque values. I don't want to under tighten or over tighten this nut. Does anyone know if it works with original torque setting or is there an adjustment value to use?

I would like to see a picture of the tool you are trying to use. But to answer the question in general....If you set your torque wrench to 65ft lbs, It is still 65ft lbs whether your wrench is 1' long or 3' long. Sorry if I misunderstood your question.

May not sound right, but in fact the offset doesn't have any effect. You are fine to wrench away!
