180 Tire Install
I installed my SE 180/60/17 today. \\; No clearance issues yet, but I haven't ridden it. \\; I have the turn signal relocation that removes the nuts from under the fender and uses the mounting bolts with jam nuts on the signals. \\; It definitely fills out the rear fender more. \\; I did notice that the torque values in my manual for an 07 SB differred from the values on Nightrider's page. \\; Manual listed first, Axle nut 92-98 vs. 60-65\\; Shock upper 75-85 vs 25-40\\; Shock lower 30-40 vs 25-40 (not a big deal there). \\; \\;

Probably looks a lot like other 180 installs. \\; My shop assistant really helped me out on this one.

Yes, same rim, 4.5". \\; I went around to a lot of metric shops and most told me they would mount a 180/55/17 no problem, so that may be an option for some guys. \\; I think JRK did it, and probably some others with no problems. \\; I wanted to stick with the same circ on the tire for speedo and gearing, so went with the Dunlop from Chicago HD for about 160 bones.

It should come stock on all the dyna models. \\; Handles well and looks great. \\;

You probably won't have any issues. \\; I've had mine a couple months now with no additional kit but I do also have the detachable sissybar setup with signal relocation parts. \\; Love the tire, love the ride. \\; Before and after pic:

Yeah, she's our crazy australian shepherd, about 9 months old. \\; They are great dogs, but you have to exercise the crap outta them or they can get pretty destructive.
