Im curious for all those that run a ThunderHeader exhaust...How much extra power does the pipe produce...And my second question is what do they sound like ???? Do they put off a loud bark...Thanks
Hey, I can help you out here. Ive gone through many exhaust, so I have a good opinion. Thunderheader has been by far the best set of exhaust that Ive put on my bike. Ive had vance and hines big radius 2-2, vance and hines straight shot slip ons, and Bassani 2-1 Road Rage. The thunderheader pipes seemed to have produced the most power. They pull very hard and sound pretty good. Plenty loud!
Its a bit different. The vance and hines pipes that Ive had were raspy sounding. The thunderheaders are a bit deeper in sound. The best sounding pipes that Ive had were the Bassani road rage. Now that things had a very rich, deep tone. But the thunderheaders gave me a helluva lot more torque it feels like.
I recently switched from T-headers to SuperMegs 2:1 very happy to make the switch, had the bike checked on the Dyno after the switch and the numbers remained the same.
I also concur, Thunderheader pipes are outstanding. \\; Both in performance and sound. \\; The only negative i find is that they shorten your bike visually. \\; Wish they were 6 inches longer. \\; Other than that cut da check.

Peace,
G
You really cant go wrong with the thunderheaders if your looking for performance and sound. They are just best all around. I wish I had just gone with them to begin with. Would have saved me a LOT of money, but I guess you learn from your mistakes. \\;
