Default need forward controls

Ive got about 250 kms on my street bob and i definatley need the forward controls. I am finding that due to the mid controls my legs are being pushed up which is causing my tail bone to get extra presure. Anybody else experienced this, and did the forwards help.

I rode 100 miles yesterday and my tail bone killed all night. That was my first real ride on my new Bob. I have a set of forward controls that I havn't put on yet. I actually went to the garage today to install them and realized I might be over my head, I didn't realize that the primary needs to come completly off. It seems like a job better left to the pros. Hopefully the new controls will eliminate the pain in my a$$.

I have the same problem, the forward controls are a real pain. I'm getting mine installed this week. I'll let you know the differences I notice.

I can guarantee they'll make a difference. I had mid controls on my previous bike and would be sore as hell after a long ride. I installed forward controls, and I felt stretched out and comfortable...and most important...no more pain!

Go forward controls and let a pro do the work. I got my black idozided forward controls from Legends for about 650.00. I ve seen other controls for around 400.00.

They quoted me three hours for the forward controls. Hopefully they will be installed in another two weeks along with the big bore kit. Should be a much more comfortable ride. I've had just about enough of the mids.

I have a 96 FXDL. Went with Acutronix Forward Controls. Dealer installed. Costly but best money spent![IMG][/IMG]
