When I finish my speedo move, I'm considering fitting Deuce risers on my FXD.
The Deuce risers have a flange at the bottom - some type of special fitment.
What's different about the Deuce? \\; Is the top tree machined differently to accept these? \\; Are the bushings different? Both?
Thanks guys ....
I posted this question in the Softail forum - but no reply ........
Follow this link and scroll down til you get to Mascman's post. I love the look of his brother's silver FXD with the deuce riser setup.

I knew Mascman had done this - but I also seem to remember that he had to grind the collar to make it fit.
I should have been clearer in my post - I was looking for a description of what makes the Deuce special - is it the top tree, or the bushing?
Since I posted I found some special spacers that will make standard bars fit on Deuce trees, so that pretty much answered my question - it's the tree that's special, not the bushing.

$39 for 1.25" bars and $39 for the risers. \\; The boss on the bottom of the risers can be cut off with a hacksaw to make them flat...very easy to do. \\;
