Rounder, there are a couple of options. They sell premeasured packs you just drop in during a tire change, or you get the beads , pull out the valve, the beads go into a little bottle they provide. They also give you a tube to connect bottle to valve. The beads tend to clog though, so you can speed the process up by vibrating the valve stem, say with a dremel tool etc... Big difference for me plus you are getting a newly balanced tire with each ride. I advise you to go to the website All this info is there
I went to the website... checked out the how to. Just was not clear on if they removed the valve internals first or does the kit hose that gets screwed on open the air valve enough to install.
OK I went to the website. I didn't see anything about 21in rims. Has anyone ran then in a 21in front tire? This is my 100th post Woo Hoo Yay Me!!!
They work just fine in my 21" front wheel.
Just a little tip: When checking your air pressure, make sure the tire is rolled around to the 6 o'clock position or thereabouts. Drained all the air out of my tire once when I did it with the stem at the top and one of the beads was in the valve core.
Rounder, the tube is just a plain old length of poly tubing that fits over threads on valve stem and to bottle. When checking tire pressure with beads installed, keep valve stem at 6 o'clock position and give valve one quick shot of air to clean beads from valve area.
