electrical issue

what was the way to get the wire out of the din plug to relocate the turn sig to run down
the strut on the outside of the finder?

I believe you have to stick a very small screw driver or equivalent inside the DIN (beside the wire) and push in a small tab that holds the wire in the DIN, while gently pulling on the wire.

Exactly, u need to gently push the plastic housing lock/barb up out of the way of the lock/barb on the metal pin. I used a set of the cheapy jewelers/eye glass screw drivers from wall mart.
