I took the pictures in my garage under bad lighting. It is denim black. I was also wondering if anyone has added a sissy bar to their Bob. Like a long sissy bar. Not a seat rest style.
In case you missed banned user Pegdragger's bike, here was the pics of his bobbed rear fender, too long rear shocks and red powercoated rims. Make up your own mind on this.
I did miss that thread on Pegdragger's bike. I like that look. Maybe a deeper red. Remember the thin red lines that went around your bike tire when you were a kid? Instead of a white wall it was a red wall but a thinner line. I'd be happy with the red walls. Cheaper too. I do like Pegdragger's bike. Nice job!
Those red lines were the Uniroyal tiger paws which were an option on the 64+ Pontiac GTO's and several other muscle cars. My '67 came stock with Goodyear redline Wide Oval's G70's so I put repro's on it from Coker tire. That is a nice look on the old muscle.
Believe it or not, the entire Yamaha Cruiser lineup had factory installed Redline tires at their huge tent on Daytona a few weeks ago. Man, I would love a set of those.
