Question Tire time

I've got an '07 Superglide with 9500 miles on it. Still has the original rubber, the front is still good but the rear has seen better days. I can't gripe about the mileage I've gotten from the Dunlops but can't help but wonder if another brand might get similar mileage but a better feel ( although there is nothing really wrong with the way the originals handled ).
The front does "hunt" a bit on grooved pavement but otherwise all has been well. Thinking of trying Avons this time around...any pros or cons?

+1 for the SE 180. But, only thing is that the tire is kinda pricey. Rides nice though! I'm at 8k miles with mine and need to change soon... very soon.

Up here in canada the SE rear tire is 30$ more than a stock dunlop. I have 8700 miles and the front is fine just the back is wearing thin!

Metzelers or Avons will make you much happier than the Dunlops aka Dunflops.

+1. I went for a ride yesterday down a stretch of horrible freeway that I hadn't been on since getting the tires and my skinny 21 front tire handles so much better then the 19" Dunlop I had before and that was the Screamin Eagle model. I'm sold on Metzlers. I'll never buy another brand.

I'm on my second set of Avon Venoms and they are great tires.
