I bought the Kury red low profile LED and it works and looks great! I had originally bought a smoked version but it looked to blah and it had glue gobs holding in the LED board (this was a flaw in this particular lamp). I have trouble seeing a stock or H-D lamp when the sun is shining on it and H-D does not make a low profile lamp, it still the stock shape, so what is the point?
99.95 shipped from Eastern Performance, I think the smoked one is the same.
CB

I was wrong, Smoked is 109.95

Tail light came in today and looks great. It seems much brighter than stock to me and the low profile looks much better.

Got it from eastern performance on ebay for $109 shipped and the transaction was A+. I bought it sunday, they shipped it monday with tracking and I received it today (thursday).

bberck, Must say it looks good. It was one of the first things I did. I also did kuryakyn's laydown curved license plate p#9171. Together they really changed the rear end for the better.

Went for a ride with a couple other people today and they said the light was very bright and easy to see.

Same situation here. Couldn't see that same unit in bright light. Kept the lens and 86'd the guts and built a new one. Bought 1,000 ultra (uber) bright LED's wholesale for $40.00 online and put 75 of them on a Radio Shack perf board. Sure can see that sucker now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the building specs for the resistors and such and will send out the drawing to you if anyone wants to do the same. Pretty funny, blew up about 20 of the LED's until I figured what values worked best for running / brake light combos. Been in there for 3 years now and haven't lost any LED's, knock on wood.

Rounder,

I have been looking at doing this, and as others have questioned, what are people telling you that ride behind ya? Can they see the turn signals? The back of your ride bada$$ with no biga$$turn signals hanging out. Nice.

Thanks,
