Default Exhaust tip

I know a lot of people are always wondering how a certain pipe sounds. Do you know you can search youtube. There are plenty of exhaust vids on there. Just search the type of pipe you wanna hear.

This has been a public service announcement paid for by the Myrtle Beach City Council.

...and now for something completely different.

I find it kinda crazy to buy pipes on the premise of hearing them on youtube. It's all in the recrding, your playback medium, etc.......i've heard thunderheader sound crummy on youtube....ya can make stock pipes sound good if ya want....Just my opinion....Binny

You have a good point, Binny. But for someone that is not really familiar with the sounds of different pipes and slip-ons, youtube is a pretty good source to get started. I would not base my decision on what I heard online, but I have eliminated a few brands because of what I heard.

This sounds stupid - but I figured out what washing machine I wanted from a youtube link. Paints a pretty good picture eventhough the variables do come into play...

True, the sound quality is not great on some of the vids but usually you can get an idea of the different sounds of pipes, enough so to find out what you like/dislike. Nothing like hearing them on a bike while out and about. The youtube idea was just a suggestion.

Baeseman...nothing stupid about it. Although it makes me wonder who out there is videotaping their washing machine and posting it online.
