Default 4" risers.

I'm thinking about getting some 4" risers for my '07 Wide Glide. The stock risers are 2 1/2" so the 4"ers would be a 1 1/2 dfference. Looks like there is enough slack in everythng except the front brake line which might work with some massaging.

Has anyone done this?

Thanks for the tip Joe. Didn't know that you had a Sporty also. I've got one too. Very fun to ride.

I was also wondering if there were any chrome 1" or 1 1/2" spacers that I could put under the stock 2 1/2" risers. The stock risers on a Wide Glide are sharp looking.

man that is what i made... a spacer... look at the pic of the bob on top, you see the stock risers are sitting on top of a 1.5 in spacer, made from basic crap you get at a hardware store... same wiht the sporty

Gotcha, Thanks for the help Joe! I'm going to hit the hardware store tomorrow. There is one nearby that has a bunch of different chrome and stainless stuff in different sizes. the base of my stock risers where they sit on top of the tree is 1 1/4" in diameter.

I'm glad somebody brought this up. I just made a set of 2 inch risers out of some aluminum stock at work. I bought grade 8 bolts. I've been wondering how safe it would be.
