I changed my forward controls on my 84 and later on my 95 Softail to late model shovel dressers. No running boards, just used the mounts to attach highway pegs to the holes where the forward running board bolts would go. This moves the pegs down and at the same time forward about 11/2 inches. really great for loooong leged riders. Does anyone know if the forward control mounting bolt holes on the frame are the same on a W.G. as a Softail? if anyone wants pic of this mod please e-mail me private

i have an 07 FXDC and a buddys 06 W/G is identical as far as location and size
