Default will this restrict airflow?

got a rain sock for my roland sands venturi intake... wondering if this will restrict airflow in a way that will cause my bike to become more rich?

the rain sock can be seen in the picture below.

thanks. I knew I could count on you. I figure with having to disassemble the intake to install It may become a permanent fixture.

Rounder and JRK...I have the same AC. Got a good deal on it, so I bought it and don't have it installed since I haven't purchased a tuner or exhaust yet (Fat Bob).

Do either of you guys have any pics of it installed?

Thanks in advance!

unfortunately my air cleaner is surrounded by the mount(as above picture). I wish I could just wrap it around in .5 sec.

Am I missing something here? I've got the RSD air cleaner and I've been in hail storms, thunderstorms, and now, after moving to Hawaii, I get rained on EVERY DAY.

What is the gain you get by having the rain screen? No problems noted on my end.

keeps water out of the intake system. While you may not notice any effects now, who knows what lies ahead If you keep allowing water to go where it should not be. Then again it may not matter at all. I figure it is very inexpensive so I bought one just in case it could matter someday.
Edit:
water does not compress so you could hydrolock the piston.
