Default Hardware List

One of my winter projects will be to start swapping out a lot of the stock hardware for chrome parts. Wishful thinking maybe but does anyone know of a list that gives the sizes of the various nuts/bolts used? If it makes a difference I'm running an '06 TC88, thanks.

Wink Hardware List

Try logging on to www.customchrome.com They have what you need in kits or remove and take to Ace Hardware as they have the best selection of chrome hardware locally. Another option is to buy a parts manual for your bike as it has every fastener listed by part number and you can look them all up by part number which will give you size and thread pitch.

Joe,
I had thought about Hot Toppers but was concerned that they would not look as good as the "real" thing. It is certainly less money and effort than replacing the entire bolt. I'll definitely look in that direction as well, thanks.

Just a note about Hot Toppers, that someone else posted a while ago. If you don't do your own wrenchin', dealer or indy will probably charge you hourly rate to take them off. Plus, he might not be too careful, breaking them; and probably won't put them back on for you, handing you a baggie of them instead. Again , this is something to think about, only if you pay someone to do you fixin' and servicin'.

Don't get me wrong, I think HTs are pretty cool, and will probably put them on my bike when I get it.

after you tighten each bolt, clear the inside of em. Save rust headaches later on.
