Somehow more visibility and lean, low profile don't go together. Only option sounds like a small LED type light. Lots of those available.
The ones I have seen that fit the struts don't seem to have DOT approval, least not the ones I have seen so far. I looked for wuite a while before I found some smaller bullet types for my WG, these are the ones I bought for mine.
It could be an issue if you live in a state that has mandatory vehicle inspections every year or so, like VA does. Not that i agree with it, just pointing it out for reference is all.
Being they are LED, how will that effect the electrical system??? I've already had issues with engine shut down using the turn signal/brake light/running light mod. I believe it interferes with the security system. Isn't there something else the light has to be connected to?
Blockhead96-I read your thoughts (in another post) about the Harley load equalizer and your bike shutting down. I can understand your frustration with the problem. I have run a Harley equalizer for about 2 years now without a problem. I have had the bike shut down on me before but that was due to another electrical problem that I caused. I have a set of led turn signal bulbs in the rear signals now and have had them there for about a year now without incident.
I ordered a set of LEDs for my ride about a week ago, along with a load equalizer...I'll be posting about it once the install is done.
Are you getting the Alloy Art's?? If so, let us know if they come with mounting hardware as I'm real curious as to how the wires are run thru- the strut and fender..
