Default Part Question

I'm going to order the Street Slammer drag bar for my FXDC. Looking at the description it doesn't say it fits this bike, doesn't say it doesn't either. It's a multi-fit part so I think it would work. Anyone know if it fits or not?

You have a 07 right? I have a 07 and thats what I have. Have seen them on everything from superglides to fatboys, so I would say they are multi-fit.

yes it will fit. Gonna look awesome as well. be prepared to ride faster! the more agressive feel of drags makes me want to blast down the roads.

Thanks guys, that's kind of what I was figuring as well, but you never know. Stealer is offering 10% off until Christmas plus the HOG discount. It'd be 20% off and HOG discount plus free pick-up and delivery for over $200, but I just can't bring myself to pay someone else to wrench my bike.

Can't wait to get them on, but as soon as I do I'll want to ride it. Guess I can just wait for the first semi-warm dry day

MTBlood, Are you planning on keeping your signals on the bars? If so check to see if you have enough clearance by turning the bars all the way to each side. I went with signal mounts off of a SE dyna to get the clearance I needed. Paid $20 used but new I think there $60. Or just relocate them.

that's a great point. I have the 3" tank lift and with the stock bars I do not have the clearance. I was hoping I would with the drags, but looks like I'll have to do what you did. What year SE turns did you install?

I have clones but got a good deal on them and 50% off labor to get them installed with internal wiring. Moved my signals down to the forks in the process. I got the bars, installed with internal wiring, new grips installed, signal relocation, and 5k service for less than $500 OTD. Not only are the signals a potential issue, especially with a tank lift, you may find, as I did, that the stock mirrors no longer give you the rear vision you had. I had to replace my mirrors with some with stems that are lower but stick out slightly farther on either side so I could safely see behind me.
