I saw frost yesterday. Then it warmed up to the 60's and rode it was great. Sheild was on.

Same here - the Memphis is a good shield, cheaper than HD, and has more adjustable points, but the HD comes off much cleaner because it leaves no hardware on the fork.

I have HD Touring quick release I like no docking hardware left behind but it is pricey

I have a Memphis Slim wind screen on my 03 fxd .love it and it keeps me woamer with the cold wind off my body core

HD-QD...came on the bike when I got it. I'd'a never bought one, due to the C.A.S.* inside me, but I sure wouldn't be without one now that I've experienced the difference. Like when you were a kid, and could only afford beater-cars with no AC or CC; ya don't miss them until you've had them once, then you wouldn't be without.
