Smile Bare Bones

Well almost made up my mind in buying the Lepera Bare Bones but I have a question. I hear people talking about getting a bare bones up front model I dont want this as it brings you closer to the handle bars. Can someone tell me if this is something that you ask for? I want just the normal bare bones with gel.

I thought this seat would do the same but I have heard some people on here talk about it being a "up front" seant moving them closer to the bars. I am looking for a sleaker lower further back feel so I hope this is it.

Just make sure you get the regular BareBones... There is an Upfront BB, it is thicker back where your tailbone is there for pushing you more forward.

The regular Barebones will definately move you back and down.

Be ready for about 500 miles of feeling like a rod is up your butt. After that, the seat breaks in and it seems to be quite comfy.

Get the barebones, It will move you back and you'll sit lower. I can go about 200 miles before it starts to kick my a$$ but I bought it for looks not comfort.

I can vouch for the standard bare bones moving you down and back and even gives some room to slide further back or even forward when you want. That's why I love the seat - I definitely needed some slide back room (I'm 6'4") and it brings you down "into the bike" more than other seats. There's such a dramatic difference now between it and my other seats, I hate having to put those on there for riding 2-up. I'm not sure if the gel is worth it. I've heard it can get pretty firm when the weather is cold. I can go about an hour on the BB before my **** needs some blood flow.
