Well i bought those chrome fxdwg sliders off of ebay, How are they going to fit my 49mm forks? They arent,so i guess i bought the wrong chit,dam it! 08 fxdwg forks are 41mm and so are the sliders.
The reason why i went with wg sliders is so i wouldnt have to space out the caliper,but now im back to sqaure one with parts i dont need!

 

relax the 41mm sliders went in 2005... 06-08 are 49mm.

 

I talked to two different hd dealers they both said 08 is 41mm so this sux, then i go to the hd site and it says they have 49mm holy crap,did the dealers hire from Burger King?

Do yourself a favor next time.....ask here or Vtwin first...but now you know that... So put em back on ebay...that's what I do. I bought a TMAX tuner...decided against it and sold it on ebay for 10% more than I paid. You can make lemons into lemonade on ebay.

 

You would think they would know,but they dont.and that was two different dealers 75 miles apart, Im scared to take my bike to thier mechanics, they might drop a pickle on my bike while making those whoppers!
