any one put 14" apes on a 07 super glide and have the slack needed to not have to splice the electric wires.my 14s will have the wires on the outside of the bars.

i put 14s on my bob.... had to re route the cables to make them work but i did have to solder in ext for the apes, so i just internally wired them... figured if i had to do that... went with a 2.5 rise as welll

Had 13's on my 07 FXD and had some slack outta the bottom of the bars but not enough to avoid extending them.
If ya don't wanna splice and dice go to Novello and buy the extensions with the ends on them. Makes it real easy.

I don't know what it costs but H-D sells wiring extension with the plugs so all you do is "plug and play".
