A lot of us run lights from Eastern linked above, good looking selection, great price, free shipping. I have the 5.75 x 9" on my sporty shown below and it looks identical to the HD version but was over $200 cheaper.
Thanks...was the install easy and did you use the existing bracket?
The ones from Eastern come with a small mount and I used it for awhile (though shimmed a bit higher). I however changed it not long after to a headwinds mount that was offset 1.25" up and out. Downside was the headwinds mount was like $30.
Easy install, clipped off stock wires and connected to the new ones (easy to get the hi/lo beam backwards the first time) and removed the ground wire altogether as the light grounds through the mount and to the trees.
Reverse colored wires for hi/low beam, headlight ground is inside bucket, mine was loose, kept making hi beam signal flicker, I just clipped wires and heatwrap instead of taking tank off to look for harness connectors. I think I paid around $99 on Ebay
I am putting the Eastern Performance on my 04 Lowrider right now. It took me 4 mounts to get one that would fit. The mount I bought that is going to work is for a springer. The wiring is easy. I bought a new dummy light mount from Headwinds. The only issue with that is that the wires need to be run internally because this mount blocks them. I adjusted that with spacers for now to hold me over until I get new bars. I'm not going to run wires internally twice.
