Default Derby cover

Anyone ever heard of the derbycover getting warped, and what would cause this to happen.

One reason may be this: I was talking to Jeff at Mt Airy Cycles a few months ago and he pulled out derby covers taken off of bikes that customers wanted to replace with one of the many Harley accessory covers. A lot of the accessory covers did not have the extra cross ribbing to help them keep their shape when tightening.

Yes, It's from over tightening the screws without a torque wrench. Do a search on the subject as there is a thread on how to fix it.
